As a Craniosacral Therapist, teacher and Holistic Health Practitioner, my approach is to be in partnership with a client, working with the whole system in building Health. My mission is about coherent facilitation and skilled support, recognizing the ability and wisdom of the whole system to become more balanced and release restrictions in exactly the ways that are needed to create WHOLENESS and Health.
Working with clients to build Resources, we continue the healing and growth that we have accomplished together in sessions in person or by distance. It is exciting and fulfilling work…with the opportunity and freedom to help clients to be confident in Health, making the changes that THEY want.
My certification and training is in Biodynamic Craniosacral and Upledger CranioSacral, Brainspotting, Comprehensive Resource Model, EFT, nutrition and herbs, Safety Sound Protocol – listening program, Biofield Tuning, quantum energy, sensory processing strategies, somatic trauma resolution and Creative Learning/Performance.
I teach Traditional Japanese Reiki, levels 1-3 with leading edge energy and meditation included in my workshops, Reiki and More…offered at the Center for Healing in Leucadia/Encinitas.
I have over forty years of consulting, research, and teaching that includes college, secondary, and alternative health. I hold a CA teaching credential and a Masters degree in Liberal Arts and graduate work in Communication Studies. In past years, I’ve been an Art, ESL, Speech/Debate coach, communications consultant, professional artist and Theater director in community college and secondary school. Integrated with this experience is my early and current training in energy work, learning from pioneers in the field in the early eighties to those leaders in the present.
My ongoing advanced study in the latest research, theories and application of new ideas implemented by these teachers and authors is exciting: psychotherapist Peter Levine Ph.D, psychologist Lisa Schwarz (The Comprehensive Resource Model, Schwarz, Corrigan, Hull, Raju-2017), Dr. John Upledger(Cell Talk, A Brain is Born), Mary Louise and Christopher Muller, Dr. Joe Dispenza (You Are the Placebo) Stephen Porges Ph.D (The Polyvagal Theory), Dr. Robert Scaer(The Trauma Spectrum), Stanley Rosenberg (The Healing Power of the Vagus Nerve-coming in Fall 21017). Having taken workshops with all of (these except Dr. John) has been tremendously fulfilling.
As a native Californian, I enjoy living in Leucadia and have worked in North County San Diego since 1986. Woven through my life, I am a thrilled grandmother and when there is time, a traveler, herbalist, writer and portrait artist.
